Due to recent events regarding vaping products, we feel it’s important to provide some clarity on certain processes and ingredients that are used in the proper manufacturing of e-liquids. The main reason for this is to help educate our contacts, as this is currently a topic of conversation within the UK vaping industry.
As an e-liquid manufacturer, customer safety is first and foremost our priority. The compounds that are linked to the recent string of “vaping-related” illnesses are not used in our manufacturing processes and we do not advocate the use of these ingredients;
- Vitamin E Acetate
- Fatty Acids
- Respiratory sensitizers
- THC
- Other ingredients classified as illegal under the TPD
We take our role as an e-liquid manufacturer very seriously. Juice Sauz operates an industry-standard facility ensuring all materials are inspected when received and purchased from reputable manufacturers. Our own manufactured products are also supplied with a Manufacturer Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and put through rigorous testing processes to ensure that they are safe for consumption and TPD compliant to abide by the laws set out by the UK government.
Juice Sauz only uses the following ingredients in the manufacturing of e-liquids;
- Vegetable Glycerin
- Propylene Glycol
- Nicotine USP 99.9%
- Artificial Flavourings to TPD Standards
These ingredients have been used to manufacture e-liquids since 2007 and we strive to make sure we work with the most reputable suppliers possible.
While it’s important to note the recent news of “vaping-related” illnesses is only reported to be in the USA, we feel it is important to comment as the media’s portrayal is sure to be worrying for some. Many of these illnesses and/or deaths have arisen due to the use of illegal THC cartridges that are not tested or regulated.

Public Health England announced in an expert independent evidence review in 2015 that e-cigarettes are at least 95% less harmful than tobacco. We feel this is the most important study and was also a landmark review in this industry.
We would like to provide our customers with the assurance that Juice Sauz products do not contain the ingredients currently being portrayed within the media. At Juice Sauz, customer safety and wellbeing remains our utmost priority.
