Is Vaping Safe?
Due to concerns regarding vaping products, we feel it’s important to provide some clarity on manufacturing of e-liquids. Vaping has recently become very popular and has helped many people to quit smoking, the illnesses that have been caused from vaping are not caused by compliant e-liquids but have arisen due to the use of illegal THC cartridges that are not tested or registered.
Public Health England announced in an expert independent evidence review in 2015 that e-cigarettes are at least 95% less harmful than tobacco. We would like to provide customer with the assurance that Juice Sauz e-liquid products do not contain the ingredients that are impacting on peoples health so negatively. At Juice Sauz, customer safety and wellbeing remains our utmost priority.
What is in our e-liquids?
Juice Sauz only uses the following ingredients in the manufacturing of e-liquids:
Vegetable Glycerin – a thick substance used in food production, medications, cosmetics and more. VG is mainly used as a sweetener, but is used in e-liquids to help create a smoother vaping experience and clouds of vapour.
Propylene Glycol – a food-grade substance used in everyday products, from everyday medications to asthma inhalers and toothpaste. PG is used in e-liquids to help carry flavour, however, it can be quite harsh on the throat which is why Juice Sauz e-liquids will only have around 30% or 50% of PG, which includes flavouring.
Nicotine USP 99.9% - only 10ml e-liquids will contain nicotine due to the TPD laws. However, you can buy individual 10ml bottles of nicotine to mix with your shortfills.
Artificial Flavourings to TPD Standards – All flavourings are custom engineered specifically for vaping and are rigorously tested.

Are Juice Sauz products tested?
Juice Sauz operates an industry standard facility ensuring all materials are inspected when received and purchased. All Juice Sauz manufactured products are also supplied with a Manufacturer Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and put through rigorous testing processes to ensure that they are safe for customer consumption, and that all products are TPD compliant to abide laws set out by the UK government. We are also undergoing ISO certification for our labs, certifying that it’s up to the highest standards, allowing us to produce the quality of products that you deserve.
Is there anything to look out for?
Although the TPD laws keep both businesses and customers safe, it is still a good idea to be wary of counterfeits. If you are unsure about a product that you are purchasing, it is best to contact the manufacturer directly who will be happy to help.
Questions to ask when buying vape products:
- Is the brand well-known? Does it have reviews online?
- Is the product suspiciously cheaper than you’d expect? If it’s too good to be true, it might be a knock-off.
- Is the bottle properly sealed? Is it high-quality?
- Does the e-liquid bottle have a barcode? If so, you could be able to trace it online through the GS1 company database to know it’s source.
